Hi we are Jil and Annika - and we have been making films together since our youth, first meeting at a youth film camp. From that moment, we've shared a passion for socially conscious storytelling, creating films that explore pressing social issues with empathy and nuance. Annika, with a B.Sc. in International Business Administration and an M.Sc. in Management of Cultural Diversity (Tilburg University), brings her production expertise and business acumen to their projects. Her first documentary "WIR" supported by the Friedrich-Ebert-Stiftung gives voice to young people growing up in a small German town, challenging stereotypes and highlighting their perspectives. Jil, Screen-Based Media graduate from Berlin with experience in television, discovered her love for film as a child actress. Her first film, made in collaboration with UNICEF, addressed European human trafficking and reflected her longstanding commitment to youth advocacy. Together, we are working on a long-term documentary in Nepal, focusing on the dreams and lives of young girls affected by child marriage. Through these projects, we have grown alongside our films, continuing to explore social issues with courage, creativity, and heart. We would love to get in touch with you!
